About Health Tech CoLab

The Health Tech CoLab is a new 3000 square foot collaboration space designed to advance the development of medical tools and devices to facilitate healthcare in low-resource settings.

Collaboration at Every Step

This initiative comes at a time when the pandemic has revealed severe shortcomings in our healthcare systems, opening the door to fundamental changes in how, when, and where healthcare is delivered. With the accelerating need for new diagnostics and tools, the Health Tech CoLab is a collaborative space where rapid ideation, prototyping, and testing of health diagnostic innovations can be carried out by multidisciplinary teams.  We are a physical space to bring together students, faculty, clinicians, regulators, manufacturers and the investment community to consider new ideas — from initial concepts through multiple cycles of prototyping. In addition to a design maker space with prototyping supplies, fabrication equipment, and test facilities.
